The ICS Majors Union plays a key role in the program. Each year ICSMU organizes an alumni workshop for early in the spring semester; this event brings back several former ICS students to talk about their career paths, including the relationship between their undergraduate education and career choices. ICSMU members also serve on the ICS Steering Committee, the key advisory group for the program that helps to review and set program policy. There is an ICSMU organizing meeting early in the fall semester. All ICS students are invited to attend.
